The Body Peace Project generates participation and awareness in the artistic, non-violent expression of our desire for peace. We invite artists to create and photograph artistically rendered peace messages involving the human body as a canvas. Using the body as a canvas adds intimacy and a reminder of corporeal vulnerability to the project. (The message should be written, painted, projected or adhered in some fashion directly upon the body, not digitally added upon the photograph.) Photos are the property of each individual artist and may not be used without the artist's consent. Photos appear at the discretion of the curator.
